Installing the Batteries

  1. Slide open the battery door on the back of the device.
  2. Follow the diagram inside the device to install the batteries provided with the device.
  3. Slide the battery door closed.

Securing the Cuff

  1. Plug the connector on cuff tube to device.
  2. Expose your left upper arm by removing or adjusting clothing and jewelry.

  3. Make sure blood flow is not constricted by a rolled up sleeve.
  4. Open the cuff and loosen fully.
  5. Orient the cuff so that the tube exits towards the hand.
  6. Place your arm through the cuff loop, with your palm facing up.

  7. Position the cuff's edge about an inch (2-3cm) above the elbow.
  8. Align the ะค marker (located to the right of tube exit) with the center of your arm.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Lay your arm on a table with your palm facing up.
  2. Sit up straight with feet flat on the ground.
  3. The cuff should be even with your heart.
  4. Press the START/STOP button to turn on.
  5. Wait while the device takes the measurement.

  6. The readings will appear on the device and cuff will deflate.
  7. The device automatically transmits your results to your provider.
  8. When the measurement is successfully transmitted, the device will display the image displayed below.

Error Codes

  • Er1 - low battery; replace four AA batteries
  • Er2 - movement detected; retake reading
  • Er3 - Measurement out of range; check cuff is secure and retake reading. If unwell, contact medical professional
  • Er4, Er5, Er6 - no cellular coverage; move to another area closer to a window
  • Er7 or higher - contact GatherMed
