Invite Team Members

There are two steps to add new users to an existing GatherMed Account:

  • Invite by email using the Groups tab, which emails the new user the Group Code 
  • New user enrolls with your unique Group Code on the Provider Registration page

Invite from Groups Tab

In the GatherMed platform, a  Group is the unique name of your account. For example, Dr. John’s Cardiology Practice may only have one Group that includes all the patients at his single office location. In another example, Hospital Corp may have multiple groups for each office location. A Group Code is a unique number that identifies your Group in the GatherMed Platform.

To add users to your group 

  • Navigate to Settings to find the Groups tab
  • Find the correct group under Location Name
  • Scroll to the right and select the person icon to pull up the Provider Invite
  • Enter in the email address of the provider you would like to add and select Submit Invite
  • This person will receive a confirmation email asking them to sign up for the GatherMed platform 
  • The email will contain the Group Code they will need to use in order to complete registration
  • They will follow the directions below to complete enrollment

Enroll with Group Code through Provider Registration

Enrollment will only be successful if the individual enrolling has the Group Code. If the user doesn't have the Group Code, they will not be tied to the correct account in the GatherMed Platform. Once they have the Group Code, the first step is for the new user to visit the Care.GatherMed platform. 

  • Scroll to the bottom 
  • Select Provider to go to the Provider Registration page 

  • They will need to enter the following information to complete registration:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Work Email 
    • Password - create a password for login 
    • Group Code - sent to the user by email 
  • Click Register and the new user will now have access to the GatherMed Platform.
